The Mitron App is not Indian, It’s Pakistani! Its source code was sold for $34 by Qboxus, a Pakistani company.
The Qboxus company in a tweet to a popular Indian news agency confirmed that they sold the source code via codecanyon.net. Everybody can buy it.
Anybody who buys the source code has to make some effort to change the interface and ensure security is up-to-date. It seems to be not the case with Mitron App.
As reported in Gadget 360, there’s a vulnerability in the Mitron App. An attacker could send messages to other users and even follow other people and comment on behalf of the victim.
The Mitron App is available to download only in Google Play. It costs an additional $38 for IOS.
Five million users have already downloaded the App, if you are one of them, you know what to do.
