The Xiaomi’s flagship phones Mi10 and Mi10 Pro was set to release in India on 31st March 2020. Due to the coronavirus lockdown, the release has been postponed without a set date.
The phones are already selling in China and are available in counties such as Spain and Italy from 1st April 2020. The COVID-19 epidemic is a global issue that as affected Spain and Italy as well. I am not sure how people there will welcome the all new Mi10 smartphone from Xiaomi.
The coronavirus epidemic is a universal problem that every nation is fighting. The world economy is looking at the bottom and a smartphone release at this juncture can be a little disappointment.
I read that only Mi10 is launched in United Kingdom at £699 for 8/128GB version and £799 for the 256GB version. In Europe, both Mi10 and Mi10 Pro will be available. The latter costs €999 onwards while the former will be similarly priced as in other countries. Expect the price in India to start from 58k.
These two phones are 5G enabled and can record 8K video. The display has a 90 Hz refresh rate like in OnePlus 7T that is selling for 35k. The M10 and Pro features are almost same except in the camera and processor department. I will publish another post with detailed specification for both Xiaomi Mi10 and Mi10 pro once it is officially released in India.
At the time of writing this post, India is completely locked down until 14th April 2020 provided the situation is under control. We may look forward for the release by end of April 2020.
Both Xiaomi Mi10 and Mi10 Pro may not be manufactured in India and so the price level will be on the higher side.
